Company Vision
With the implementation of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and the "dual control*" policy on energy intensity and total consumption, the papermaking industry, as one of the first eight major industries in China to be included in the carbon trading scheme, has an inevitable choice to accelerate the realisation of low-carbon transition and green development. On the other hand, the wave of digitisation is driving manufacturing enterprises, including papermaking enterprises to break through technological barriers and deepen technological innovation. In this context, Bohui Paper has unswervingly promoted the Company's Six Modernisations - Standardisation, Automation, Informationisation, Digitisation, Intelligentisation and Greenisation, and actively promoted the integration of ESG concepts into the Company's operation and management practices, and is committed to promoting the sustainable development and win-win situation of economy, the environment and society.
*Dual control: Controlling total energy consumption and the consumption intensity of companies and projects.
The official operation of Bohui Paper's lean management system indicates that the Company is accelerating the realisation of kinetic energy conversion through digital-intelligent transformation. With the goal of "building a green, low-carbon, and digital-intelligent mill", we have introduced advanced production management systems, implemented upgrading and transformation of automation, built automated warehouses and intelligent workshops, and developed intelligent logistics, which have effectively improved resource and energy utilisation efficiency while improving the production efficiency and product quality. We pay attention to the cultivation of scientific research talents, continue to increase investment in technological research and development (R&D), strengthen technological research management, fully stimulate the enthusiasm of technical R&D personnel, and continuously make breakthroughs in product and process innovation.
Bohui Paper has begun to formulate the strategic plan for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality targets, accelerating the adjustment of corporate energy structure and industrial upgrading. We have implemented a series of technological upgrading projects such as comprehensive utilisation of energy, water resources recycling, and comprehensive utilisation of solid waste, and have achieved sound environmental protection results. We have actively incorporated environmental protection considerations into the whole life cycle of product development, continuously developed products with green and healthy attributes, and made positive contributions to the landing of important national policies such as restricting and reducing plastic use and developing a circular economy. Bohui Paper's white ivory cardboard series, cultural paper, and corrugated cardboard paper have completed product carbon footprint certification in 2022, and white board, cultural paper, and packaging paper have obtained carbon neutral certification, which means that we have completed more substantial work in the field of carbon reduction.
