Green Logistics
In recent years, Bohui Paper has continuously strengthened green logistics, controlled multiple links such as transportation, storage, loading and unloading, reasonably planned and managed logistics activities, and reduced the impact of logistics on the environment.
Transportation is an important part of Bohui Paper's roadmap for carbon reduction. The Company actively advocates carriers to use natural gas, electric vehicles or cleaner means of transport and fuels for product transportation. In 2022, the Company carried out tram trial operation analysis to evaluate and analyse indicators such as vehicle mileage, electric energy consumption and transportation speed during the simulation route, so as to provide data foundation and technical support for tram promotion in the next step. By the end of 2022, the use of energy efficient vehicles by some line carriers in Jiangsu Base had reached 20%. According to the distribution of transportation addresses and road conditions in different transportation periods, the Company plans the optimal route for drivers to improve transportation efficiency.
The "low-cost, high-efficiency, low-loss" "Yantai-Huantai" wood chip "bulk to container" reform ocean-rail intermodal transportation logistics model has been implemented since November 2021 and has maintained stable operations so far. In the future, the Company will continue to invest resources to open more routes with partners to promote the new development of green logistics with a more efficient operating model.
In addition, the Company also attaches great importance to the recycling of wastes in the logistics link. From October to December 2022, Jiangsu Base of Bohui Paper used waste trays for finished product loading after they were renovated, which resulted in a cost reduction of RMB60,000 while promoting the utilisation of waste materials.
